Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the Capellini pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they soften and release their juices, about 3-4 minutes.
Toss in the cooked pasta and mix well, adding a splash of reserved pasta water to create a light sauce.
Stir in fresh basil, red chili flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan or additional basil if desired.
