2lbsflank steak (orpreferred cut)
2tbs Chipotle seasoning (or Chipotle adobo sauce)
1pcs lime (for juice and zest)
2tbsp olive oil
3pcs garlic cloves, minced
1tbsphoney (optional, forsweetness)
1pcs Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine Chipotle seasoning, lime juice and zest, olive oil, minced garlic, honey (optional), salt, and pepper. Stir well to create a smooth marinade.
Marinate the Steak: Coat the steak with the marinade, making sure it’s well-covered. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.
Grill the Steak: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on your preferred doneness. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve: Slice the steak against the grain for tender slices. Serve with a fresh avocado, cilantro, and optional sides like grilled vegetables or rice.
